Home for the Aged

A home run by the Little Sisters of the Poor and order of nuns of the Catholic faith, they admit elders of any community and have no disparity of caste or creed. They look after helpless elders who have no income or means, some don’t have any family and other have family who can’t afford to care for them. The nuns give them a loving home supported by donations only. The sisters make the rounds in every community for alms and many people come to the home from all walks of life and donate for their needs.

  • Provided fresh bed sheets.
  • Provided disposable sheets and disposable diapers.
  • Custom made tailored comfortable kurta-pyjamas for men and nighties for women based on their physical needs.
Outcome

We helped them with medical needs and learnt how to run an elder care facility from the dedicated nuns who have made serving the aged their life’s mission.
